Sketch cards 6

It's been quite awhile since I posted any sketch cards. Honestly I've had a tough time keeping up with them, but I really like doing them when I get a few minutes or a burst of inspiration.

These are all done in 45 minutes or less and I have no idea what I'm going to draw until I sit down to draw them.

Lessons learned this time around:

Even though I've been a die-hard Iron Man fan since I was about 8, I don't think I'd want to draw the book. That card took more than 45 minutes. It took at least twice that long.

I also realized that even though I've never really consciously favored DC or Marvel, I'm obviously more familiar with Marvel characters. The only reason I can think of is that, as an artist, I tend to follow artists and the majority of ones I follow tend to end up at the House of Ideas. I'll have to force myself to do some DC characters a little more often in the future.

I was really happy with the Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Silver Surfer on the board. Rare that I stay happy with anything I draw, so when it does happen I figure I got lucky.
