PENICKart

So I've been working on a single project for a year now. Not because it's some huge thing, but because 1) I'm slow, 2) I work at home and my wife doesn't, so I've had to do a lot of parenting, which cuts into my work time (but wouldn't trade for anything in the entire galaxy, and 3) the material is densely laden with detail. I'm really proud of it though, and can't wait to share some of it. I've been sharing some individual panels on my public Facebook page. If you want to see those, head on over to this here [link]!

Just figured I should change my journal entry from the holidays. We're almost halfway to another round of them! Luckily I seem to be keeping busy this year. Lots of art to come - currently working on a 60 page graphic novel. More details to come...

I'm a little broke this christmas; the year started off well but has been rough through the second half, so I'm offering up a bunch of original art for sale at rock bottom prices. This is the first time I've really ever done this, so I don't know how long it will last or when I might do it again. I would be eternally grateful to anyone willing to help out and buy something. I'll make sure to throw in some sort of extra goodie for anyone who buys anything before christmas. Shop here

Here's some screen capture video of me drawing digitally. Photoshop and a Wacom Cintiq 21UX. The results of these two videos have been printed for old-school inking. Total "real" time: 2 hours 55 mintues. Time for you to watch: roughly 10 minutes.  

Started with a sketch I did on paper, which sucked, so I scanned it and then drew on top of it. You'll see it pop up now and again. 

It's been a while since I was really active here. Too long. I'll get back to it, I just happen to have been doing lots of work lately that I've been unable to share. Hopefully that will change soon. I HAVE posted a few things on my blog and on my facebook page. Snippets of things that aren't really the kinds of stuff I want to be shared here - panels of pages, pencil roughs, that kind of thing.
